I was curious about the enthusiasm in Czech Republic for Ice-hockey, so I went to a match.

Indeed it was fascinating, the players don’t look humans, you can’t see their body or face. It’s looks like gladiatorial combat during antic Roma, without death but a lot of violence, and mostly I think that it’s very cathartic for the viewers. Supporters are very involved and the arena creates a new world for them… There are mascots, pompom-girls, beer, food, music, screens, publicity and players are heroes. During 2 hours the public forget reality to be focus on these supermen without faces. So my idea was to put these players in the real life, and create situations with normal peoples.
